<p>Remember Chrissy from Three&#8217;s Company? This plan was developed by her. Suzanne Somers has gotten into nutrition and fitness in a big way. It started with the Thigh Master and has continued with what people are calling the Somersize diet.</p>
<p>Somersize gets its basis from the ideas behind several other plans. Eating food in certain combinations will help the participants lose weight. The body&#8217;s metabolism has to learn to function properly. Eating junk food and greasy fare has ruined our metabolism and thrown our bodies out of whack.</p>
<p>This diet plan places the blame squarely on white flour.  Foods that contain a high percentage of white flour are extremely high on the glycemic index.  This means that when you eat this type of food your body&#8217;s insulin production spikes.  This results in you becoming more hungry more often and binging on food in order to maintain energy levels.</p>
<p>The Somersize plan came out of Suzanne&#8217;s book, Get Skinny on Fabulous Food. It sounds like a gimmick and several people consider that it is. It is not a complete plan that teaches the basis behind food composition, but does offer lists of eliminated foods.</p>
<p>The Plan divides food into four groups.  The first group being pro-teen and fats.  These two foods are combined because fat and protein eat together slow digestion.  The next group is the veggie group.  Veggies can be eaten as long as they do not contain a large amount of starch.  Luckily there are many vegetables that fit this description.</p>
<p>The next group is the carbohydrate group.  White flour carbohydrates are frowned upon.  However, any carbohydrate derived from healthier grains like whole-grain is always the best choice. Dieters are encouraged to eat cereal cheese and milk but to avoid varieties with excessive fat in favor of those with better ingredients.</p>
<p>Fruits are the last group. Fruits provide healthy sugars. No fruits are off limits just don&#8217;t add sugar or other sweeteners to them or you&#8217;ll defeat the purpose. There is a list of foods to eliminate while on the plan included. They are foods that most plans which stress low calorie carbohydrates tell participants to limit. The only problem with this list is that there is no plan for incorporating them back into the diet in small quantities if the participant wants to do so.</p>
<p>The guidelines are general. Fats and protein can be eaten together but can&#8217;t be eaten with carbohydrates. Vegetables are allowed to be eaten with fats and proteins and carbohydrates. Fruit should be eaten at the beginning of the day. There needs to be a span of several hours between a carbohydrate meal before eating one with proteins and fats. The Somersize plan is quite generic so participants definitely should do their research and be sure they understand the importance of portion control before beginning. </p>

<p>Dieting with aloe vera is as easy as sleeping.  How lovely to sink into the soft pillows and rest.  While you sleep there is a lot of repairing going on in the regeneration department while the brain is on standby. </p>
<p>Unconscious schedules come into play as the wear and tear is checked and a process of renewal begins.  A complete overhaul goes on every night.  Being alive means every part of us is in need of attention.  There is a lot of energy required for this busy function and if you do it right, this energy will come from the fat cells.</p>
<p>One of the most important proteins involved in this process is collagen.  It is the main component for organs, skin, bones, nails, etc, etc.  Let us take cartilage as an example:  this is the tough cushion in between bone joints that acts as a shock absorber so that we stay flexible when we bounce around. Anti-aging is in place.  No bone grinding. </p>
<p>There is constant regeneration while we sleep.  A healthy body will do this long into life to keep us fully active and flexible.  Doing your dieting with aloe vera will help to keep the system running smoothly.</p>
