You need to do something about it and yet everyday when you lazily crawl out of bed nothing seems to right.</p>
<p>Excessive weight gain is almost always due to an improper diet. Most of the calories we injest will be stored as fat in our bodies if we shift our eating habits because our metabolisms follow patterns.</p>
<p>For the need to address the matter, Dr. Robert Atkins created a dynamic low carbohydrate diet in the 1970&#8242;s, and had a book that elaborated on the diet. It wasn&#8217;t popular when it was first released, but thanks to it&#8217;s reintroduction to the United States in the 1990&#8242;s, it has become more popular and fueled numerous coffee table discussions. The Atkins diet has attested to be favorable in many instances while nutritionists and health experts dismiss it as being a popular fad.</p>
<p>The Atkins diet is broken up into several different stages based on the portion of carbohydrates included into your food chart. In the archetypal introductory phase, it allows for consumption of 20 gm of carbohydrates per day. In these first two weeks, one subsists on bacon, poultry products, meat, cheese, butter, sausage, seafood and oils and he is barred from consuming food with a high glycemic index like cereals, fruits, milk, grains or breads.</p>
<p>During the maintenance section of the proram it is recommended that the dieter increase his carbs by 5 grams each day until he is averages around 40 to 90 grams each day. Adipose tissue will be exposed through extensive carbohydrate consumption.</p>

As the individual lowers his carb consumption and triggers the metabolism to start breaking down fat in order to release energy, this initially occurs in a healthy fashion. <p>The ketone bodies formed during ketosis, interfere with your blood cells&#8217; oxygen carrying capacity and may permanently damage brain tissues and lead to brain death or coma. So one should stay on the lookout for signs of ketosis. Bad breath is one of the chief indicators of ketosis since the ketone body formed in the digestive system and its interaction with the enzymes and bacteria leads to fermented products. Sluggish movement is also due to lesser energy being released on breakdown of fat. 1 gm of carbohydrate release 7 Kcal of energy while 1 gm of fat releases only 4.9 Kcal of biochemical energy.</p>
<p>On the whole, the Atkins diet will prove beneficial if one does it in moderation and combines a regular fitness program with it. Regular exercise reduces stress levels and improves your mood apart from making you lose weight and look better. The better you feel physically, the more calm, relaxed and confident will you be mentally.</p>

<p>An entire industry has sprung up from this desire, manufacturing diet pills and marketing them so lucratively that many people actually believe the magic pill might exist. Many of us have tried these pills without success. In order to find out how to best lose weight, there are some important things to know before dieting.</p>
<p>There are a number of diet pills that are on the market for purchase. Lots of people make claims to melt fat, suppress appetite and burn carbs. The lack of FDA regulation makes these pills problematic despite the fact that they may live up to their assertions.</p>
<p>Even if you actually succeed in finding a pill that is effective for you, bear in mind that there have been cases where pills have been found to have adverse effects years afterwards. To appeal to various types of dieters, manufacturers have put various unique types of pills on the market.</p>

<p>With all the hype over carbs contributing to weight gain, people are looking for the solution to that as well.  Carb blocker pills are made from a white kidney bean extract, and while they may work to block carbs, it&#8217;s nowhere near what the claims are for. These pills are generally expensive, too. Another risk you take with carb blockers is a false sense of security. When taking a carb blocker, you are more likely to not watch your carb intake because you believe you are magically blocking the carbs from turning into calories. This just isn&#8217;t the case.</p>
<p>Good nutrition, along with exercise, is the best way to slim down. Long-term weight loss is a lifestyle change, not a prescription fix.  People who lose weight with pills often find that the weight returns when they quit taking them and return to their old behaviors.</p>
<p>If you need a lift in the short term, attempt using appetite suppressants but keep in mind that your body will become comfortable and used to them. To eliminate the health risks and cost associated with diet pills, choose a good diet plan that you can adhere to and the weight will be lost efficiently.</p>
