<p>To lose a realistic pound in weight each and every week all you need to do is reduce your food intake or exercise enough to loose 500 calories each day. Exercise and eating right can be done properly and the unsightly bumps can still never seem to go away.  There is one newer solution to this problem.  It is a new treatment called Lipodisolve and it is a great alternative to liposuction.  The drug that makkes up the lipodisolve injection is called phosphatidyclcholine.  It is injected into the fatty areas and helps to break down fat deposits and can help to eliminate that unwanted cellulite.</p>
<p>Many women that have used topical creams will most likely be the first in line to tell you that they do not have any effect on cellulite.  The problem is that they don&#8217;t seem to down far enough into the skin to actually work.  This is what makes lipo disolve so great because it is injected directly into the fatty tissue areas.  The drug is believe to trick the body into breaking down the cellulite and kicking it out of the body.  It has not really yet been proven if the fat is actually expelled from the body or not so more research needs to be conducted on this to make a determination.</p>
<p>For those that have put forth some serious effort into exercising and dieting and they just have not worked this is where lipodisolve comes into play.  Lipo disolve has been around for about 10 years and there have not been any major side effects from the treatment come about yet.  The drug phosphatydycholine has been used to treat cardiac disease in the past and it now used in the lipodisolve treatments.  Another great thing about this treatment is that it can be done just about anyone from the knees up.  Some common areas it is done is the stomach, thighs, buttocks, and under the chin.</p>
<p>The lipodisolve treatments are generally conducted by someone who is a licensed professional.  The treatment is conducted by injecting the drug into the desired area.  One of the great things is that recovery from the lipodisolve treatment is really minimal.  There isn&#8217;t really any reason for people to not go directly back to their normal activities.  Each area being treated usually requires 3 or 4 different treatments in order for this to be effective.  The patients need to do exercise and continue to eat well for maximum effectiveness.</p>
<p>Since the treatments began 10 years ago there have really not been any side effects noted.  It is fair to say that long term effects of the lipo disolve treatments are not really known because of the short time period they ahve been around.  It is safe to say that most patients will experience some mild bruising and swelling around the areas that were treated with the drug.</p>
<p>The cost of each treatment will vary in cost based on several factors.  These factors include the size of the area being treated and the location of the area being treated.  There are statistics showing that 9 out of 10 people are satisfied with the results from lipo disolve, but you should be aware that this will not work for everyone.</p>
<p>Lipodisolve is not safe for pregnant women, those planning on being pregnant within 6 months, breast feeding women, people with liver or kidney disease, or an autoimmune disease.  It is always important to consult with a physician and do extensive research concerning your candidacy before undergoing this treatment.</p>

<p>Hundreds of products come out every single day claiming to help you burn fat and build muscle in minutes, days or weeks. These products never work! And you know it. You either end up using that product and screwing yourself up, or you listen to others who bought the product and screwed themselves up.</p>
<p>There certainly are good ones out there too but very rarely will you find one that helps you stay lean for over a year while allowing you to actually enjoy your life. Most of these routines are easily adapted by your body in like 5 to 8 sessions of the same workout over and over again. These routines usually provided a plan that will only last for like a month or two. What then?</p>
<p>It is simple logic that muscle burns fat. Have you seen muscular people getting fat easily? If you build more muscle, your body will use the fat as energy and everything else to help sustain the muscle and increase muscle growth. So why focus on cardio and aerobics when you can focus on building muscle that will automatically help burn the fat?</p>
<p>1. Always go for exercises that target major muscles like the Back, Legs, Chest. Doing exercises for these muscles work all the other muscle fibers at the same time. This gives greater growth for the less but highly intense effort! Deadlifts are more intense than doing leg presses.</p>
<p>2. If you want real muscle growth, you need to work hard in every workout. Go to your max. Compete against yourself in your previous workout. If you did 8 reps Bench Press with 150 lbs last week, go for 9 or 10 reps with the same weight in your next workout. Or increase your weight and train to failure. Keep progressing in every workout.</p>
<p>3. Stick to fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grain carbs and lean protein if you really want to burn fat and build muscle at the same time. If you keep eating junk just so you can put on weight, you will end up gaining fat while building muscle. That is an ugly picture.</p>
<p>4. If you want to get great results, you need to take a week off every 8 to 10 weeks. This rest is necessary for your body to prevent injury and overtraining. Believe me, you will burn fat and build a lot of muscle even in your week off since your body finally has the chance to repair weeks of intense training.</p>
<p>5. When it comes to machines or bodyweight, always go for bodyweight. You&#8217;ll be surprised at the results. Unless you want to work the abs using a cable machine for kneeling crunches or cable chops, you are btter off getting super effective results using free weights and body weight movements than using machines no matter how expensive they are!</p>
<p>These 5 tips are all you need to get a jump start in your goal to burn fat and build lean muscular physique in the shortest time possible. All you need is focus and persistence to fight for what you deserve.</p>

<p>Remember Chrissy from Three&#8217;s Company? This plan was developed by her. Suzanne Somers has gotten into nutrition and fitness in a big way. It started with the Thigh Master and has continued with what people are calling the Somersize diet.</p>
<p>Somersize gets its basis from the ideas behind several other plans. Eating food in certain combinations will help the participants lose weight. The body&#8217;s metabolism has to learn to function properly. Eating junk food and greasy fare has ruined our metabolism and thrown our bodies out of whack.</p>
<p>This diet plan places the blame squarely on white flour.  Foods that contain a high percentage of white flour are extremely high on the glycemic index.  This means that when you eat this type of food your body&#8217;s insulin production spikes.  This results in you becoming more hungry more often and binging on food in order to maintain energy levels.</p>
<p>The Somersize plan came out of Suzanne&#8217;s book, Get Skinny on Fabulous Food. It sounds like a gimmick and several people consider that it is. It is not a complete plan that teaches the basis behind food composition, but does offer lists of eliminated foods.</p>
<p>The Plan divides food into four groups.  The first group being pro-teen and fats.  These two foods are combined because fat and protein eat together slow digestion.  The next group is the veggie group.  Veggies can be eaten as long as they do not contain a large amount of starch.  Luckily there are many vegetables that fit this description.</p>
<p>The next group is the carbohydrate group.  White flour carbohydrates are frowned upon.  However, any carbohydrate derived from healthier grains like whole-grain is always the best choice. Dieters are encouraged to eat cereal cheese and milk but to avoid varieties with excessive fat in favor of those with better ingredients.</p>
<p>Fruits are the last group. Fruits provide healthy sugars. No fruits are off limits just don&#8217;t add sugar or other sweeteners to them or you&#8217;ll defeat the purpose. There is a list of foods to eliminate while on the plan included. They are foods that most plans which stress low calorie carbohydrates tell participants to limit. The only problem with this list is that there is no plan for incorporating them back into the diet in small quantities if the participant wants to do so.</p>
<p>The guidelines are general. Fats and protein can be eaten together but can&#8217;t be eaten with carbohydrates. Vegetables are allowed to be eaten with fats and proteins and carbohydrates. Fruit should be eaten at the beginning of the day. There needs to be a span of several hours between a carbohydrate meal before eating one with proteins and fats. The Somersize plan is quite generic so participants definitely should do their research and be sure they understand the importance of portion control before beginning. </p>

<p>Treadmill walking is an extremely easy way to help lose weight and stay healthy. A lot of people think losing weight is complicated, but this really isn&#8217;t the case. Easy fat loss is achieved when your body burns more calories through exercise than the number of calories you intake from food.</p>
<p>Some people mistakenly believe that if they walk three times a week for a short period of time, they can lose weight easily. This is a myth. Effective weight loss through walking requires you to walk at least 45 minutes or more five to six days a week.</p>
<p>The important thing to remember is to keep up to your walking on a regular basis. You will find it extremely hard to control your weight if you do not exercise consistently. It is also important to bear in mind that walking around your local area may not be enough, especially if you live in a flat area.</p>
<p>Walking on a treadmill can be an excellent way to give yourself a more thorough workout. By increasing the incline of the treadmill, you can simulate walking up hill which not only increases your heart rate, but also causes your muscles to work harder and therefore use up more fat.</p>
<p>By regularly using a treadmill in your workout you will be able to both lose excess weight, and also make sure it doesn&#8217;t return. Of course some people may get bored of using a treadmill rather than exercising outdoors, so here are some great ways to make your workout more exciting:</p>
<p>Walk the Pyramid: This game challenges you both physically and mentally for a total of 30 minutes. Whenever you&#8217;re walking on your treadmill, increase the speed by .1 mph every 15 minutes. Do this for half of your workout and then decrease the speed .1 mph for the other 15 minutes.</p>
<p>1,2,3 Counting Steps: Let&#8217;s face it, working out on a treadmill can be boring. Break the monotony by counting your steps. Take a minute and count your steps and then take a minute break. Continue doing this throughout the duration of your workout. It will keep your workout interesting and over time you&#8217;ll see notice the number of steps you take increase, which will be a reward for you.</p>
<p>Step and Walk: This is an excellent technique because it combines all the benefits of using a treadmill with other forms of exercise. Split your workout into equal segments, chunks of 5 or 10 minutes are good. Now, walk on your treadmill for the first segment. Then get off the machine and do another exercise for the next segment &#8211; such as using a stepper, lifting weights or perhaps using a rowing machine. Then return to your treadmill for the third segment and repeat throughout your workout.</p>
<p>Travel the World: This is a fun little game where you map out the favorite routes through your neighborhood and then imagine yourself walking there while you&#8217;re doing your treadmill walking. What I did was actually record my journey through a local park on my camcorder, and then I watch this while doing my exercise and it&#8217;s like being outdoors no matter what the weather.</p>
<p>The key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle is to keep doing your treadmill walking without getting bored. Don&#8217;t be scared to invent your own games and techniques to keep yourself interested and help make your workout seem less like a chore and more like fun!</p>

You need to do something about it and yet everyday when you lazily crawl out of bed nothing seems to right.</p>
<p>Excessive weight gain is almost always due to an improper diet. Most of the calories we injest will be stored as fat in our bodies if we shift our eating habits because our metabolisms follow patterns.</p>
<p>For the need to address the matter, Dr. Robert Atkins created a dynamic low carbohydrate diet in the 1970&#8242;s, and had a book that elaborated on the diet. It wasn&#8217;t popular when it was first released, but thanks to it&#8217;s reintroduction to the United States in the 1990&#8242;s, it has become more popular and fueled numerous coffee table discussions. The Atkins diet has attested to be favorable in many instances while nutritionists and health experts dismiss it as being a popular fad.</p>
<p>The Atkins diet is broken up into several different stages based on the portion of carbohydrates included into your food chart. In the archetypal introductory phase, it allows for consumption of 20 gm of carbohydrates per day. In these first two weeks, one subsists on bacon, poultry products, meat, cheese, butter, sausage, seafood and oils and he is barred from consuming food with a high glycemic index like cereals, fruits, milk, grains or breads.</p>
<p>During the maintenance section of the proram it is recommended that the dieter increase his carbs by 5 grams each day until he is averages around 40 to 90 grams each day. Adipose tissue will be exposed through extensive carbohydrate consumption.</p>
<p>Listed here are a few of the disadvantages resulting from the low carb diet. As the individual lowers his carb consumption and triggers the metabolism to start breaking down fat in order to release energy, this initially occurs in a healthy fashion. Starvation can cause lipolysis to occur which can cause ketone to form, because of the lack of fat being broken down.</p>
<p>The ketone bodies formed during ketosis, interfere with your blood cells&#8217; oxygen carrying capacity and may permanently damage brain tissues and lead to brain death or coma. So one should stay on the lookout for signs of ketosis. Bad breath is one of the chief indicators of ketosis since the ketone body formed in the digestive system and its interaction with the enzymes and bacteria leads to fermented products. Sluggish movement is also due to lesser energy being released on breakdown of fat. 1 gm of carbohydrate release 7 Kcal of energy while 1 gm of fat releases only 4.9 Kcal of biochemical energy.</p>
<p>On the whole, the Atkins diet will prove beneficial if one does it in moderation and combines a regular fitness program with it. Regular exercise reduces stress levels and improves your mood apart from making you lose weight and look better. The better you feel physically, the more calm, relaxed and confident will you be mentally.</p>

<p>In a simple equation, caloric balance equation is: Daily Calorie Intake (from food consumption) &#8211; Daily Calorie Expenditure(see above) = Caloric Balance Put briefly, IN &#8211; OUT = Balance.</p>
<p><u>The 3 Balances</u></p>
<p><b>POSITIVE &#8211; WEIGHT GAIN</b> When your IN is greater than your OUT, you are gaining weight. IN greater than OUT = Weight Gain That is, when your daily intake of energy (from food) is greater than your daily expense of energy (from resting metabolic rate and physical activity), your weight is going up.</p>
<p><b>NEGATIVE = WEIGHT LOSS</b> In contrast, if your total daily calorie expenditure is greater than the amount of calories you consume, your body will use up calories stored in your body, which leads to weight loss. OUT greater than IN = weight loss Thus, a negative caloric balance will result in weight loss.</p>
<p><b>NEUTRAL &#8211; NO LOSS, NO GAIN</b> When your IN and your OUT are equal, your weight is stable. IN  OUT = NO LOSS, NO GAIN Your daily intake of energy (from food) is similar to your daily expense of energy (from resting metabolic rate and physical activity), so your weight stays the same.</p>
<p><u>The Effect of Exercise</u> Now let&#8217;s see what happens when we add exercise to the equation&#8230;</p>
<p>Positive balance = Weight Gain, but  Positive balance   exercise = Weight Gain, but this gain is in MUSCLE MASS! Negative balance = Weight loss, but Negative balance   exercise = Weight loss, but this is a loss of FAT MASS Neutral balance = No change in Weight, but Neutral balance   exercise = No change in Weight, with some MUSCLE GAIN, AND some FAT LOSS.</p>
<p>Exercise increases the calories you burn up everyday, so if eat the same amount of calories but begin to exercise, your balance will become lower, since you are increasing your out but keeping your in the same.To maintain a neutral balance, you would have to eat a little more to make up for the extra calories you&#8217;re burning up, and this is natural, as lots of people have a larger appetite once they begin working out.</p>
<p><u>No exercise</u> Just as there are many benefits to exercising, there are some consequences to not exercising. Positive balance = weight gain in FAT MASS Negative balance = weight loss IN MUSCLE MASS</p>
<p>This point needs to be underlined. Most fad diets that promote huge weight loss in a short period of time do so by severely restricting caloric intake, sometimes without having you exercise. That will actually make you lose mostly muscle as well as a bit of fat. Why is this bad? Because, in the long run, a loss of muscle mass means a lower resting metabolic rate, which in turn reduces your daily caloric expense. A few of these diets and you have substantially reduced your resting metabolic rate, which means that if you eat the same amount of food you did before the diet (same IN), you will actually gain weight because your lowered OUT (lower resting metabolic rate) leads to a more positive caloric balance. How do you reverse that situation? First, you stop following fad diets that severely restrict caloric intake. Second, you exercise, since exercise will increase your resting metabolic rate over time.</p>
