<p>1.  Yoga &#8211;  Yoga focuses on establishing a balance in your body by connecting the mind, body and spirit.  It creates this balance by developing your breathing, flexibility and strength.  It&#8217;s a popular exercise among celeb moms and moms alike to lose the tummy and tone the muscles.   From the heat intensive Bikram Yoga to the long duration poses of Yin Yoga, there are several traditions of yoga available to discover.  Find a yoga tradition that fits you and sign up for a couple classes or purchase a Yoga DVD and do it in the comfort of your home.  </p>
<p>2. Kickboxing &#8211; When your workouts are getting tedious and boring, why not lose your tummy with some Kickboxing?  It&#8217;s a great way to decompress and get a thorough total body workout.  You can burn the baby fat and learn some self-defense and get a killer body from doing so.  </p>

<p>A new mom stranded on an island with no food would naturally lose the pregnancy weight fast because of the lack of food. Although there are many factors that affect and contribute to being overweight, the one factor that stands apart from the rest is FOOD. Food by itself is not the problem.  The real problem is our unhealthy relationship with food and lack of knowledge about the food we buy and fuel our bodies with.</p>
<p>1. Choosing to Eat Bad Foods</p>
<p>Do you eat foods that are bad for you? Whether it&#8217;s because of your busy schedule or you just hate cooking, eating unhealthy foods adds excess body fat to your waistline, hips and thighs. Cutting out processed foods such as packaged luncheon meats, canned foods high in salt and sugar, refined breads and pastas, packaged snack foods, frozen dinners or boxed meals will help you lose pregnancy weight fast. Although these foods are convenient and taste good, many are high in saturated and trans fats (bad fats), salt and sugar which increases your chances of developing diabetes, cancer and heart disease. </p>
<p>Not all processed foods are bad.  Frozen fruit or vegetables are good because they still retain their nutrients.  As a general rule, shop mainly around the perimeter of the grocery store because that&#8217;s where the fresh produce and meats are.  When buying processed foods remember to read the ingredients and product labels to know the salt, fat, and sugar content in the products.</p>
<p>2. Fast Food Addiction</p>
<p>These days&#8217; people get addicted to everything and fast food is no exception.  Losing pregnancy weight fast is not going to happen when you choose fast food over a home cooked meal because it tastes good and is convenient.  Eating burgers and fries, pizzas and fried chicken seems harmless enough but the huge calories from the fat, salt and sugar found in fast food only makes you fatter.    </p>
<p>One way to cut back on frequenting the fast food restaurants is to buy fresh food and cook at home. <p>3. Skipping Meals</p>

Your body works more efficiently with a frequent input of nutrients to keep it going.  Three big meals are better than one, but this is not what makes your metabolism working at its optimum.  Instead this inconsistency slows down your metabolism.</p>

<p>Variety is the spice of life and the same applies to our diets.  A balanced diet is a must for healthy weight loss and management.  However, when you are running a busy household, meals of convenience have a tendency to supersede healthy meals.  This makes burning the baby fat a challenging task especially when you feel like you don&#8217;t have the time or help to do so.  This is what makes fad diets so attractive for moms to lose the baby weight but at the high price of physical and mental let down.    </p>
<p>No Food Diet</p>
<p>You have to eat to live.  Starving yourself is going against the natural activity of eating that is required for your body&#8217;s sustenance. Here are the top 5 do&#8217;s and don&#8217;ts to keep you on track for losing pregnancy weight.</p>
<p>1. Don&#8217;t obsess over your daily calories. Skipping meals or becoming too strict with yourself could lead to binging when hungry and purging to ease the guilt. Committing to eating healthy meals for losing pregnancy weight should be a gradual transition so it won&#8217;t sabotage your efforts by being a shock to your system and psyche.  Choose natural foods and healthy low-calorie receipes and snacks that cater to your tastes. </p>
<p>2. Do include healthy snacks.  Indulging in your favorite sweet or salty treat every now and again helps to keep you sane and in a postive mindset, but remember not to let your reward backfire on you.
